De-risking the Path to Resilience
Exploring financial mechanisms that can support the farmers’ transition to sustainable agriculture
Thursday 15 October 2026 | 11:00am – 12:30pm CET | Tour & Taxis, Brussels
Nature Theme Day · Hosted by AB InBev and SAI Platform
Overview
Transitioning to more sustainable and resilient agricultural practices is essential for the future of food systems. Yet for many farmers, the journey requires upfront investment while additional costs and risks often materialize long before the benefits are realized.
Hosted by AB InBev and SAI Platform, this closed-door roundtable will bring together leaders from across the agricultural value chain, including food and beverage companies, processors, financial institutions, insurers, policymakers and sustainability practitioners, to explore how financing, risk-sharing and commercial models can create the conditions for farmers to invest in change.
Participants will discuss practical approaches that can accelerate the adoption of sustainable farming practices, examine successful models from agriculture and other sectors, and identify opportunities for collaboration across the value chain.
