Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you join us at Tour & Taxis, 12–16 October 2026.

General

Who is Brussels Climate Week for?

Brussels Climate Week is open to a broad community, including policymakers, businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, cities, civil-society organisations and citizens.

Brussels Climate Week is intended to be inclusive, representative and diverse.

Is Brussels Climate Week free to attend?

Can we put a price on trying to save the planet? Every official activity of Brussels Climate Week is free to attend: the Conference, the official side events and the Expo.

When you register you automatically receive an Expo pass, and you can also apply for a Conference pass to attend the Conference Theme Days, the Conference Keynote and official side events. Attendance at individual sessions is subject to availability.

Official partner events are run independently by their hosts. While we encourage hosts to make them free to attend, some may charge an entry fee.

When and where does it take place?

The Conference and Expo run from Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October 2026 at Tour & Taxis, Brussels, with official partner events taking place throughout the week.

  • Conference: Maison de la Poste (Ticket Hall)
  • Official side events: Maison de la Poste
  • Expo: Gare Maritime
  • Official partner events: Maison de la Poste, across Brussels and online

See the Week Overview and Venue Map for full details.

What can I expect from the Conference Programme?

The Conference is the main content hub of Brussels Climate Week. It combines high-level discussions, keynotes and fireside chats across five Themes, bringing together European institutions, Member States, industry, cities, investors and innovators to discuss Europe's climate-industrial transition and turn ambition into action.

What is the Expo?

The Expo at Gare Maritime is a showcase of climate and sustainability solutions, open to the public from 12 to 15 October. It brings together startups, research organisations, corporates, cities, NGOs and other innovators, with a focus on visibility and collaboration.

What are official side events?

Official side events are official Brussels Climate Week content that run alongside the Conference at Maison de la Poste. Some are open to apply to through the registration form; others are invitation-only. You'll find them all under Conference > Official Side Events.

What are official partner events?

Official partner events are run by third-party organisations whose events align with Brussels Climate Week's objectives. They take place at Maison de la Poste, across Brussels and online throughout the week, and each has its own registration. Browse them all on our Events page.

Can I attend just one day?

Yes. When you register you can apply for any combination of Conference Theme Days and side events.

Can I participate if I am not a climate specialist?

Absolutely. Brussels Climate Week is intended for a broad audience, and the programme includes plenty of opportunities to learn, explore innovations and meet other participants.

Are there networking opportunities?

Yes, networking is a big part of the Week. There are Networking Lounges in the Expo area, networking breaks throughout each Theme Day, and a Welcome Party on Monday evening following the Conference Keynote (spaces are limited!), as well as many official partner events that also offer networking.

Will sessions be livestreamed or recorded?

No. Brussels Climate Week is an in-person event and sessions are not livestreamed, so make sure you register to join us at Tour & Taxis.

Can my organisation host an event during Brussels Climate Week?

Yes. Organisations can apply to host an official partner event, provided it aligns with Brussels Climate Week's objectives and eligibility criteria. There is no cost to be listed. Approved events are included in the official programme and can use Brussels Climate Week branding.

How can I exhibit, partner or sponsor?

I'm a journalist. How do I get media accreditation?

Code of Conduct

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes. Brussels Climate Week exists to speed up the climate transition by putting people in one room who don't usually share one: policymakers, industry, cities, researchers, investors, civil society and campaigners. That only works if everyone in the room can take part fully and safely.

It applies to everyone: delegates, speakers, partners, exhibitors, media, contractors and our own team alike, across both venues, the Expo, side and partner events, evening receptions and our online channels.

What we expect: challenge the argument, not the person. Listen before deciding what someone thinks. Disagreement is expected; contempt isn't acceptable. Respect people's time, space and right to take part, including those whose organisations you disagree with. Respect the venue, the people working in it, and the city hosting us.

What isn't acceptable:

  • harassment, intimidation or bullying of any kind, including unwanted physical contact or attention
  • discriminatory or demeaning language or behaviour, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or appearance
  • sustained disruption that stops a session going ahead or stops others taking part
  • recording or photographing someone who has asked you not to
  • anything that makes someone feel unsafe

Depending on what has happened we may ask someone to stop, ask them to leave a session, or withdraw their accreditation and remove them from the event without refund. Serious matters will be referred to the venue's security team or the police. This applies to the organisers too. If we get something wrong, tell us, and we'll deal with it the same way.

Something happened and I want to report it. What do I do?

Tell any member of the Brussels Climate Week team (we're on site all week and identifiable by our badges) or speak to the security officer at the entrance to Maison de la Poste. You can also email hello@brusselsclimateweek.com at any time, during the event or after it.

We'll take you seriously, we won't ask you to confront anyone, and we'll keep what you tell us confidential as far as we're able.

Accessibility

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. All spaces at Tour & Taxis are accessible for people with reduced mobility, and both car parks have accessible parking spaces.

I have specific requirements. Who should I contact?

Please tell us about any accessibility or other requirements in the "Specific requirements" field when you register, or email hello@brusselsclimateweek.com before the event, and we'll do our best to help.
